A Demonstration was held in front of Pakistan High Commission, London on 4th of January, 2006. The Rally was organized by Mehdi Foundation International (MFI) to bring to the attention of the international media the atrocities being carried out by Pakistani Police and Secret Agencies against the MFI members there. More than 50 innocent people belonging to MFI have been arrested so far and out of them 8 have been booked in the false case of blasphemy. Police is conducting raids on the houses of MFI members and harassing family members and children.

The unlawful persecution by Pakistani Police and Secret Agencies was brought into the knowledge of High Commission officials. A Petition was also filed with Mr. Javed Umrani from Counsellor Section, who promised to pass it on to the Government of Pakistan. He was unable to give any reply when asked about the outcome of previous Petition and subsequent meeting in High Commission.
